% 11.03.2026 1.
By virtue of the present application under Section 483 read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the applicant seeks extension of interim bail which was granted to him vide order dated 17.02.2026 in BAIL APPLN. 93/2026 for a further period of three weeks.
2.
A perusal of the self-explanatory order dated 17.02.2026 in BAIL APPLN. 93/2026 reveals that the applicant was only granted interim bail for a period of three weeks purely on humanitarian grounds, particularly, since he was stated to be the sole bread earner of his family and was required to take care of both his ailing father and son despite him being in the habit of jumping bail on numerous occasions. 3.
Moreover, the medical documents filed do not inspire confidence as they are bereft of any particulars/ details.
