This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.
The present writ petitions have been filed by the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking release of the goods seized vide Detention Receipt bearing No. 26714. 3.
The case of the Petitioners is that they were travelling from Dubai to India on 2nd September, 2024. The jewellery being one gold chain weighing The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 02/04/2025 at 12:21:20
about 150 grams in W.P.(C) 2308/2025 and one gold chain weighing about 197 grams in W.P.(C) 2419/2025 were seized by the Respondent-Department. 4.
The show cause notice in these matters have already been issued. An objection is raised on behalf of the Petitioners that the same were not issued within the stipulated time. The said objection may be taken by the Petitioners in their replies.

Reply to the show cause notice be filed within a period of thirty days. 6.
