Status report is stated to have been filed on behalf of respondent/ MCD. However, the same is not on record.

1.1 Copy of the same has been handed over in Court today and is taken on record.

As per the status report, the unauthorized construction in the subject property was booked on 16th March, 2026. Subsequently, on 17th March, 2026 a work stop notice was issued to SHO, P.S.: Chandni Mahal. 3.

of law, demolition order has been passed on 7th April, 2026 and further action has been planned for 15th May, 2026.

In the status report filed on behalf of SHO, it is stated that no unauthorized construction has taken place in the subject property after the order was passed by this Court on 12th March, 2026. 5.

In view of the submissions made in the aforesaid status reports, the present petition is disposed of, while directing the respondent-MCD to take action in accordance with law.

It is further directed that SHO, Police Station, Chandni Mahal, shall provide necessary police assistance for the proposed demolition action. 7.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the owner/occupier are kept open.

In the event, the petitioner has any further grievance, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law. 9.

Pending application stands disposed of.
