Through the present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner prays for the following reliefs: "i. Pass a writ/order/instruction/direction in the nature of mandamus in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents thereby directing the respondents to release all kind of service benefits and family pension benefits to the petitioner, her mother-in-law and minor child being the dependant and legal heirs of the deceased Basant Kishan.

Any other order/relief/direction may also kindly be passed in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper according to the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Late Mr. Basant Kishan is stated to have died on 16.01.2011. 3.

provides further information / particulars with regard to Late Mr. Basant Kishan, including Army Number, it would not be possible for the Respondents to locate the record of Late Mr. Basant Kishan. 4.

At this stage, learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that the present writ petition filed by the Petitioner may be treated as a representation by the Petitioner and disposed of with directions for expeditious consideration. He also undertakes that the Petitioner will make a sincere attempt to furnish further details / particulars of Late Mr. Basant Kishan within next two weeks. 5.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submission, the Respondents are directed to consider the present writ petition as a representation and to take appropriate decision in accordance with law within the next two months.

The present writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
