The present Petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by six months i.e., 31.10.2024. 4.

It is submitted that the vide Order dated 07.03.2022, learned Sole Arbitrator was appointed for adjudication of the disputes having arisen between the parties.

The evidence of the parties has been concluded on 30.07.2023. 6.

It is also submitted that the by mutual consent of the parties, the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator was extended upto six months i.e., The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/02/2024 at 11:19:27

28.02.2024 in terms of Section 29(3) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The final arguments are yet to be concluded by the parties. Therefore, it is submitted that the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator, which is expiring on 28.02.024, be extended by six months upto 31.10.2024. 8.

Learned counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submits that he has no objection if the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended. 9.

In view of the submissions made, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is hereby extended by six months upto 31.10.2024 from the date i.e., 28.02.2024 it expires. 10.
