By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 3 months with effect from 31.01.2025, for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing of the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 31.01.2025.

Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition. Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of four months with effect from 31.01.2025 for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. Further, the proceedings of the Arbitral Tribunal conducted after expiry of the mandate, i.e., from 31.01.2025 till date, if any, are validated and regularised. 6.
