The present petition has been filed impugning the notices dated 02.01.2025 and 14.01.2025 issued under Section 50 of the Delhi Police Act, 1978 ('DP Act').

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that a notice dated 02.01.2025 has been received by the Petitioner directing him to appear before the competent authority on 14.01.2025. He states that however the notice under Section 50 of the DP Act has not been served on him. He states that similarly, with respect to the notice dated 14.01.2025 issued thereafter, no notice under Section 50 of the DP Act has been provided to the Petitioner herein.

Issue notice. Learned ASC accepts notice.

He states that the notice under Section 50 of the DP Act, 1978 was duly served upon the Petitioner along with the notice dated 02.01.2025. states that without prejudice, a fresh copy of the notice is being handed over to the counsel for the Petitioner. He states that the next date of hearing before the competent authority is 27.03.2025 at 2:00 P.M. 5.

He states that in fact, since the Petitioner has failed to appear on 20.02.2025, bailable warrants have been issued on the said date. 6.

In response, learned counsel for the Petitioner states that she acknowledges the receipt of notice under Section 50 of the DP Act dated 02.01.2025 and states that the Petitioner undertakes to remain present before the competent authority on 27.03.2025 at 2:00 P.M. 7.

She states that now the Petitioner has been served with the Section 50 DP Act notice, she seeks leave to withdraw the present petition. 8.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications stand disposed of.
