The LOC under challenge is issued at the instance of Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO).

The petitioner has made various submissions to indicate that he has complied with all earlier directions. According to him, his case is squarely covered by the decision passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 6534/2023 titled Rekha Dixit vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 03.02.2026. 3.

The Court thus, finds that the petitioner is fully cooperating with the investigation. The petitioner in W.P.(C) 6534/2023 where the LOC was set aside, was the Vice Chairperson in Jaypee Healthcare Limited. Another order passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 14468/2021 titled Pankaj Gaur vs. Union of India and Ors. is also pressed into service. The role of the petitioner seems to be lesser than that of the petitioner in the said case.

Therefore, the Court finds that the LOC has lost its significance. The same is accordingly set aside with granting the liberties to the parties which was passed in the case of Pankaj Gaur and Rekha Dixit. 6.

The instant petition along with pending application stands disposed of.
