The present Petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C./ Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed seeking release of the Petitioner on parole for a period of one month on medical grounds. 2.
Ms. Rupali Bandopadhyay, learned Additional Standing Counsel, has appeared on advance Notice and she submits that the present Petition has been filed without approaching the Jail Authorities. 3.
In view of the aforesaid, the present Petition is directed to be placed before the Jail Authorities, who shall consider it as an Application for grant of Parole on emergency medical grounds and dispose it of within two weeks in accordance with the law.
