The present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of 04 weeks. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed an application seeking parole as early as on 27.12.2023 but till date the application of the petitioner has not been disposed of. 5.

He submits that the State has no objection in case directions are given to dispose of the application seeking parole in a time bound manner. 7.

In view of the above, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner seeking parole within a period of two weeks from today.

With the aforesaid direction the petition stands disposed of. 9.

Copy of the order be forwarded to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary compliance and information.
