In paragraph 6 of the Status Report filed by the respondent-Delhi Police, it has been stated that preserving the body for identification after conducting autopsy would result in amplification of decomposition and spread of decomposition to other bodies. In the Status Report, it has been further stated that autopsy shall be conducted within seventy-two hours. 2.
