Learned counsel for the parties submit that they have arrived at an amicable settlement before the Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, vide Settlement Agreement dated 17.03.2026. A copy of the same has been received. As per the said Settlement Agreement, the petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of Rs. 23,00,000/- towards full and final settlement of the claims of the claimant/respondent. 2.
Mr. Sanjeev Mahajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that pursuant to the directions contained in order dated 17.01.2020 of this Court, a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- was deposited with the Registry of this Court, which has been kept in the form of an FDR. He submits that he has no objection if the said amount, along with interest accrued thereon, is released to the respondent towards part payment of the settlement amount. balance amount out of Rs. 23,00,000/- shall be paid to the respondent within a period of 10 days thereafter.

The Settlement Agreement is taken on record. The parties shall remain bound by the terms thereof.
