The petition is taken up for hearing.

The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 606/2016 under Sections 498-A/406/34 of the IPC registered with PS Uttam Nagar, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. She is present in Court and is identified by the IO. She states that she had lodged the FIR in question in view of the matrimonial disputes that had arisen Signed By:DUSHYANT RAWAL Location:

between her and her husband (petitioner no.1). She states that she and petitioner no.1 have since resolved all their disputes. She states that she and petitioner no.1 have also secured a decree of divorce. 5.

She states that she has no further grievances against the petitioners and joins the petitioners in praying that the FIR in question be quashed. 6.

Petitioner no.1 has also joined the proceedings and he states that he has no grievances against respondent no.2. Petitoner no. 2 has not joined the proceedinngs and request is made on his behalf that his appearance be exempted. Petitioner no.1 states that he has full authority to make a statement on behalf of petitioner nos. 2 as well. Petitioner no.1 states that petitioner no.2 also has no grievance against respondent no.2. 7.

In view of the statements made by the concerned parties (petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2), the present petition is allowed and the FIR in question, that is, FIR No. 606/2016 under Sections 498-A/406/34 of the IPC registered with PS Uttam Nagar, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
