The substantive prayers made in the writ petition are as follows: "a. Direct the Respondent to cancel the perpetual lease dated 04.05.1995 in respect of Videocon Tower, Jhandewalan Extn, New Delhi; re-enter the premises and take possession of the same.
b. Direct the respondent to initiate departmental enquiry against the offices of building department, DDA who are responsible and issued the false and bogus occupancy certificate for premises "Videocon Tower"; and lodged a FIR for irregularities and corruptions by said the officials."

Learned counsel for the petitioner says that the petitioner is a resident of the subject area and the alleged illegality is committed by an entity by the name of Banganga Investment (P) Ltd. which affects his rights.

It is the petitioner's case that representations submitted to the DDA have not been dealt with.

Given these circumstances, the DDA is directed to treat the captioned petition as a representation and dispose of the same in accordance with the law.

Before disposing of the representation, the DDA will call upon all the parties which are likely to be affected by its decision which will include Banganga Investment (P) Ltd.
