% 09.05.2026 This appeal has been filed by the challenging the Award dated 15.01.2026 passed by the Learned MACT Awarding compensation of Rs.80,750/- along with interest @7.5% p.a. from the date of filing of claim petition.
On appeal, the Appellant deposited Rs.20,000/- as well as statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- before the Registry of this Court. After discussion, it is agreed between the parties that on payment of lump sump amount of Rs.70,000/- by the Appellant in favour of Respondent claimant, the Appeal be disposed off as satisfied towards full and final settlement of the Award. In view of the above, Appellant is directed to deposit Rs.70,000/- before the Registrar General of this Court, within a period of six weeks failing which same shall carry interest @ 9% p.a. on the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. delayed deposit. The said amount be released to the respondent claimant subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities. On deposit of the said amount of Rs.70,000/- by the Appellant before the Registrar General of this Court, the deposited amount of Rs.20,000/- as well as statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited in terms of order dated 13.03.2026 along with interest if any, be refunded to the Appellant, subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities.
it is agreed between the parties that the Respondent Claimant shall cooperate with the Appellant on criminal proceedings. In terms of the aforesaid, the present appeal along with pending application (s) stand disposed of.
