% 17.01.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of parole on the ground that her son is suffering and admitted in hospital. On the notice being issued a status report has been handed over by the learned counsel which is taken on record. As per the status report the family of the petitioner comprises of her mother and three children one daughter namely Seetal is working with Emirates while the second daughter works in American Express and the son of the petitioner aged 24 years is admitted in the hospital suffering from Bipolar Disorder. He has symptoms of Acute Mania. As per the medical report he is improving and is likely to be admitted for another 3-4 weeks. On 9th December, 2017 the petitioner was granted parole for four weeks by Govt. of NCT of Delhi but was released on 19th December, 2017. W.P.(CRL) 134/2018
Considering the medical condition of the son of the petitioner this Court deems it fit to extend the parole of the petitioner. Thus, the parole of the petitioner is extended for a further period of four weeks on the same terms and conditions imposed vide order dated 9th December, 2017 of the Deputy Secretary (Home), Govt. of NCT Delhi, copy whereof is at page 14 to 16 of the paper book.
