O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 20/2020 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for the learned Arbitrator to publish the award by a period of two months effective from January 04, 2020.
Learned counsel for the parties state that the proceedings have been reserved for award. Mr. K.K. Patra, learned counsel appears for the respondent on advance notice states that instead of two months, three months be granted to the learned Arbitrator to render the award. This submission of the learned counsel for the respondent is also agreed to by Mr.
Raman Kapur, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner. If that be so, three months are granted to the learned Arbitrator to render the award effective from January 04, 2020. The petition is disposed of.
