O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 37/2019 This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

The learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Arbitral Award is extended by this Court. Having perused the contents of the petition and taking note of the fact that the arbitration proceedings are at the final stage, the time for making of

the Award is extended by a further period of nine months with effect from 20th January, 2019.

The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to cost. Dasti.
