The present petition has been filed alleging contempt of the order dated 24th November, 2023 passed in W.P. (C) No. 10361/2023. 2.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that by way of th November, 2023, it had been directed that the writ the order dated 24 petition of the petitioner shall be treated as a representation by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") along with the documents submitted by him. Further, the respondent had been directed to give a personal hearing to the petitioner within two months. Per contra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-MCD on advance notice has handed over copy of letter dated 26th February, 2024 issued by the Administrative Officer, City Sadar Paharganj Zone ("CitySP") of MCD, wherein it is stated that the petitioner herein has been called for personal hearing on 28th February, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the office of the Assistant Commissioner, City-SP Zone.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-MCD further undertakes, upon instructions, that after giving due hearing, the representation of the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously, within an outer limit of four weeks.

Recording the undertaking given by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, the respondent is held to be bound by the aforesaid undertaking. It is directed that a speaking order shall be passed by the respondent after giving due hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from today.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of. 7.
Needless to state, the petitioner has liberty to revive the present petition, in case, his grievance still survives.
