Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed for appointing a Special Investigation Team for carrying out the time bound investigations into the death of Navreet Singh, grandson of the petitioner. 6.

Learned counsel, on instruction, submits that he is limiting his prayer to direct the police to file the final report/ charge sheet expeditiously. Learned Prosecutor on instructions from the IO submits that investigations are at an advanced stage and charge sheet is likely to be filed within two months.

The charge sheet be accordingly filed.
