This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus for the production of Ms. XXXX, the minor daughter of the petitioner.

Ms. XXXX has been produced before us in person. She submits that she is now residing with her father.

We are also informed that the Child Welfare Committee-I, Nirmal Chhaya Complex, Jail Road, Hari Nagar is seized of the matter and has passed certain directions vide order dated 18.03.2026. Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS) has also been registered at Police Station Khyala, West District, Delhi, on the complaint of the petitioner, regarding the missing girl. Further, in view of the statement made by the child under Section 183 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, offences under Sections 64(2)(m), 65(1), 351(2), 115(2), 87 and 49 of BNS were also added.

Without commenting on the other proceedings that are pending, as the girl has now been recovered and handed over to the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. The same is accordingly disposed of.
