The present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS seeks the following prayers: - "1. Pass an order conferring to the inherent powers of this Hon'ble Court u/s 482 Cr.P.C. And Quash the FIR bearing No. 0383 of 2015 dated 07.08.2015 registered at PS New Friends Colony u/s 408 & 420 of IPC along with all the consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR No. 0383 of 2015, against the Petitioner herein in the interest of justice, and/ or;

2. Pass any other order(s) that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case in favour of the petitioner in the interest of justice." 3.

Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State, on instructions of SI Pawan, PS DIU, South East, submits that the investigation in the present FIR is complete and the charge-sheet is pending scrutiny before the competent authority.
