The present petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No. 161/2014 dated 16.02.2014, registered at Police Station Aman Vihar, for offences under Sections 454/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 on the ground that the parties have settled the dispute.

The counsel for the petitioners referred to the order dated 19.08.2019, passed by the Mediation Centre, Rohini District Courts, Delhi.

The complainant is present in person and states that the petitioners pursuant to entering into the settlement are further causing nuisance and mischief. He submits that the conduct of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the petitioners had earlier led to registration of the present FIR. He submits that he is willing to return the money he has received pursuant to the settlement.

In view of the statement made by the complainant, the present FIR cannot be quashed on the ground of settlement. The petition is, therefore, dismissed.

The petitioners are at liberty to file a petition for quashing of the FIR on merits.
