Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that they would have no objection if the case of the petitioner for remission is considered afresh by Sentence Review Board (SRB) in its next meeting. He also assures that the Board, while considering the case of the petitioner, would keep in mind the exhaustive directions given by learned Coordinate Bench of this Court in Santosh Kumar Singh vs. State (Govt. of the NCT of Delhi), 2025 SCC OnLine Del 10585.

In view of the above assurance, learned counsel for the petitioner does not pray for any further relief at this juncture. 3.

Petition is, accordingly, disposed of with direction to Sentence Review Board (SRB) to reconsider the request of the petitioner in its next meeting, in accordance with law.

Copy of the order be also sent to Jail Superintendent for due compliance. 5.
