This petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "(i) Issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the impugned order dated 30.01.2025 passed by the DIG (PERS), FHQ CRPF, New Delhi rejecting the Petitioner's claim for grant of Senior Time Scale from the date completion of the 4 years of the promotion.

(ii) Issue a Writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondents to grant Senior Time Scale from the date completion of the 4 years of the promotion to the petitioner at par with his batchmates and immediate The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

In effect, the petitioner is seeking Senior Time Scale (STS) w.e.f., 03.11.2014.

Mr. Abhay Kumar Bhargava, learned counsel for petitioner submits that this Court in W.P.(C) 8080/2013 decided on 11.02.2015, had granted the petitioner the grade of Assistant Commandant w.e.f., 03.11.2010 and hence, the petitioner is entitled to STS, on notional basis. Mr. Bhargava also relies upon the subsequent judgment of this Court in the case of Ajit Kumar Choudhary v. Union of India & Ors., W.P.(C) 7245/2019, decided on 01.09.2022.

On instructions, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the issue which arises for consideration in this petition is pending consideration in the case of Union of India & Ors. v. Manorama Singh & Ors, Special Leave to Appeal (C) No(s).754/2022. 5.

Our attention has been drawn to page nos. 59 & 60 of the order, wherein the Supreme Court has granted stay of operation and implementation of the judgment of this Court granting relief to the officer. 6.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that any decision qua the petitioner shall depend upon the outcome of the SLP pending before the Supreme Court.
