This petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to immediately release the motorcycle PB-35P 2152 to the Petitioner.
b) Direct Respondent No.1 to initiate an inquiry into the high-handedness of Respondents 3 and 4. c) Award Compensation of Rs.[10,00,000/-] for mental agony, harassment, and loss of professional focus.
d) Direct that the Compensation and Litigation Costs (Advocate professional fees) be recovered directly from the personal salaries of Respondents 3 and 4, and not from the public exchequer, as their acts were mala fide and outside the scope of official duty."

In effect, the challenge is primarily to the action of the respondents for taking the custody of the petitioner's motorcycle being PB-35P-2152 without informing the petitioner.

his motorcycle and the car in the residential complex without seeking prior permission from the respondents.

On this, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall not ply the same in residential complex as he intends to send his motorcycle to his home town.

On this, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the motorcycle of the petitioner shall be handed over to him during the course of the day.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner shall again apply for a car sticker to enable him to ply his car within the residential complex. If that be so, the respondents on receipt of the said application, shall issue the necessary sticker to the petitioner. 7.
