The petition is for setting aside the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by the respondent-UOI whereby, the petitioner's Overseas Citizen of India [OCI] card has been cancelled under Section 7(D)(e) of the Citizenship Act, 1955 ['Act']. The order is challenged mainly on the following grounds: i.
The impugned order raises fresh grounds which were not contained in the show cause notice.
ii.
The material on the basis of which the allegations have been made in the show cause notice was not supplied to petitioner. iii.
The notification dated 04.03.2021 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs under Section 7B of the Act (2021 Notification) on the basis of which, the impugned order has been passed on the ground that the petitioner had not sought permission to carry all missionary activities The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. is violative of the rights under Article 25 of the Constitution of India. iv.
The material on the basis of which the 2021 Notification was invoked was not supplied to the petitioner.

It appears that the petitioner has filed an application for review of the impugned order under Section 15A of the Act on 13.12.2025. 3.
Ms. Nidhi Raman, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Government, on instructions, submits that the application for review was received by the respondent on 21.01.2026. She submits that the notice for hearing of the review has been sent to the petitioner and the date has been fixed for 24.03.2026 at 6:30 pm.

The Court, therefore, deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant petition with the following directions:
i.
The petitioner to appear before the authority concerned on 24.03.2026 at 6:30 pm virtually or through authorized representative. ii.
The petitioner be extended opportunity of hearing and be also provided time to place on record any material if the petitioner so desires.
iii.
Let the order be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of completion of hearing.

All rights and contentions are left open.

If the petitioner has any further grievance thereafter, he shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law. 7.
