BAIL APPLN. 136/2020 This is a petition filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking interim bail for a period of one month in case FIR No. 661/2018 under Sections 302/34 IPC registered at Police Station Nihal Vihar, on the ground of engagement ceremonies of his two sisters which is to take place on 22.01.2020 and their marriage which is fixed for 09.02.2020.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the State. The factum of engagement of the sisters of the petitioner has been verified,

however, it is submitted by learned APP for the State that the allegations against the petitioner are grave and serious in nature so he cannot be granted interim bail for a period of one month. I have perused the status report filed by the State. In the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of three days from the date of his release in order to enable him to attend the engagement ceremonies of his sisters on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- along with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall surrender to custody after expiry of the period of interim bail.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. As prayed, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the Court for the purpose of seeking interim bail on the ground of marriage of his sisters.

A copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendant for compliance.

A copy of the order be given dasti under the signature of the Court Master.
