% 20.01.2020 Petitioner is the victim of FIR No. 482/2017, registered at police station Mianwali Nagar, Delhi for the offence under Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Vide this petition, petitioner is seeking direction to respondents to provide her protection from accused of the said FIR.
Notice.
Mr. Ashish Aggarwal, Additional Standing Counsel, for respondent No.1/State accepts notice and submits that a complaint was received at the office of DCP, Begumpur, Sector 23, Rohini, Delhi from W.P.(CRL) 160/2020
petitioner but it was found that petitioner is not residing at the given address.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that at present petitioner is residing at the address mentioned in the petition i.e. Mianwali Nagar, Paschim Vihar, Delhi and she be provided protection at the said address. A copy of FIR in question has been given to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State, who submits that petitioner's safety would be ensured.
Let Mobile number of SHO, Beat Constable, W/ASI, Division Officer of police station of Mianwali Nagar, Paschim Vihar, Delhi be provided to the petitioner forthwith so that in case of any exigency, the petitioner can contact the concerned officials. In view of the above, learned counsel for petitioner does not press this petition.
In the light of above, the petition stands disposed of as not pressed accordingly.
