The present petition filed by the petitioner seeks that the licence granted by the respondent nos.1 and 2 in favour of the respondent no.3 for running a guest house in the name of 'Central Guest House' in building No.4 and 5, Nizamuddin West, New Delhi-110013, be cancelled/not renewed. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon the communication dated 24.01.2009, addressed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hq. New Delhi and also the communication dated 25.08.2008 addressed by the office of Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police, South District, New Delhi in support of his contentions that the aforesaid guest house be not permitted to continue its operations.

After some hearing, with the consent of the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the MCD to treat the present petition as a representation and pass a reasoned order thereon after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and after considering the contentions raised by the petitioner in the present petition. 4.

Let an opportunity of hearing be afforded to the petitioner within 2 weeks from today. Let a reasoned order be passed within a period of four weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition stands disposed of. 6.

Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved with the outcome of the aforesaid exercise, it shall be entitled to avail appropriate remedies, as may be available to it under law.
