1. The present appeal is directed against the order dated 10.01.2020 in CM APPL. 679/2020 whereby the appellant/petitioner sought early hearing of the writ petition. The learned Single Judge had dismissed the application by observing that the matter is listed for hearing on 30.01.2020.

2. The submission of the learned counsel for the appellant is that the tenure of respondent No.2 after extension would expire on 31.01.2020 and it is apprehended that the same may be extended further.

3. We are not inclined to interfere in the impugned order, since the writ petition is now listed on 30.01.2020. Accordingly, the present appeal stands dismissed. All pending applications are disposed of.

4. Learned Single Judge may endeavour to take up the petition for hearing on the next date.
