Both the petitioners are present in person alongwith their counsel. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were living in close neighbourhood and developed attraction for each other. He further submits that the petitioner No.2 was Muslim by religion and after converting to Hindu religion, she got married to petitioner No.1 at Arya Samaj Mandir on 17.12.2014 according to Hindu Rites and Ceremonies. Learned counsel further submits that family of petitioners were against their relationship now the petitioners are apprehending threat from their respective family members, who have been impleaded as respondents No.2 to 6 in this petition i.e. parents and brother of petitioner No.2 as respondents No.2 to 4 and parents of petitioner No.1 as respondents No.5 and 6. Learned Counsel for the petitioners prays that police may be directed to provide protection to the Petitioners.

Learned ASC for the State/R-1 submits that if address of the petitioners where they are presently residing is furnished, the necessary protection shall be provided to them through SHO concerned. 4.

The Petitioners, who are present in person, have been questioned about the address where they are presently residing. They submit that presently they are residing at D-1458, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and protection may be granted to them at the said address.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the State/R-1 is directed to provide necessary protection to the Petitioners through SHO concerned, after assessing the element of threat, if any. The State/R-1 shall also ensure that mobile numbers of concerned SHO/Beat Constable are provided to the Petitioners to enable them to contact if necessity arises. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms. As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
