It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on 6.2.2020 at around 2.30 pm, the respondent no. 5 came to the house of the petitioner. It is further submitted that respondent no.5 entered into the house of the petitioner forcibly and tried to strangulate her. The mother of the petitioner came for her rescue and locked her daughter inside the room. He further submits that the mother of the petitioner made a mobile call to the Beat Constable namely Dharampal to arrive at the spot. The beat constable arrived and took the accused away from the spot.

The said accused person was freed by the beat constable.

On the other hand, learned ASC for the State, on instructions from the IO, submitted that a call was received from the mother of the petitioner and immediately thereafter Beat Constable reached at the house of the petitioner but respondent no.5 was nowhere found and allegations are not correct.

Be that as it may, issue notice to respondent no.5 by all modes, on petitioner taking the necessary steps, returnable on 14.5.2020. Till then, the concerned SHO is directed to keep on providing the due protection to the petitioner. It is also submitted by the learned ASC for the State that Beat Constable, as a routine basis, visits the house of the petitioner in the morning and evening. RAJNISH BHATNAGAR, J MARCH 04, 2020/ib
