O R D E R

% 30.01.2020 Petitioner is seeking two month's parole for filing Special Leave Petition in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Petitioner is undergoing rigorous imprisonment of seven years in FIR No. 378/2009, under Section 392/120B IPC, registered at police station Mandawali, Delhi. Upon notice, learned Additional Standing Counsel for respondent/ State informs that petitioner is involved in more than five cases and he had recently availed parole for his sister's wedding from 14th November to 28th November, 2019.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that almost all the cases are W.P.(CRL) 168/2020

prior to the year 2009 and only one case pertains to the year 2014 and in all these cases, petitioner is on bail.

Heard.

In the interest of justice, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his executing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent, subject to the following conditions:

i) The petitioner shall provide his mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working conditions at all times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent;

ii) The petitioner shall report to the local police station to mark his attendance on every alternate day at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole;

iii) The petitioner shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; and iv) The petitioner shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent. The petition stands disposed of.
