The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking that directions be issued to respondent no.2 to take the petitioner, in custody, to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) for collecting the OCI Card of her minor son, namely, Master Aryan Kapur.

This Court is not persuaded to accede to the said request. It is not necessary for the petitioner to go in person to collect the OCI Card of her son and the same can be done by any authorized person as well. Mr Mahajan, learned ASC appearing for the State submits that the same has also

been confirmed by the FRRO.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
