An application under Section 438 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 420/2016 under Sections 498A/406/506/34 IPC registered at P.S. Ghazipur. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that during pendency of bail application, the matter has since been settled in Mediation, vide settlement deed dated 02.03.2020. It is further urged that marriage between petitioner and complainant has been dissolved by decree of divorce under Section 13B(2) of the Hindu Marriage Act, vide judgment dated 12.12.2022, though a copy of the same has not been placed on record. She further submits that steps are also underway, for quashing of FIR in question. 3.

Learned APP for State submits that chargesheet has already been filed.

The petitioner is no longer required for investigation since the chargesheet has already been filed. Considering the settlement between the parties as pointed out by learned counsel for petitioner, in the event of arrest, petitioner be admitted to bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court concerned. Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
