These petitions have been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act') seeking extension of the arbitral proceedings which are underway before the Sole Arbitrator. The proceedings have been extended twice earlier and shall be expiring on 28th February 2025.

Counsel for respondent consents to 6 months' extension, whereas counsel for petitioner, however, pleads extension for a period of one year, considering the nature of dispute which involves certain complex questions. 4.
The matters are at the stage of final arguments and written submissions have to be filed by the parties.

Accordingly, proceedings are extended for a further period of 9 months, including period that will be required by the Arbitrator to write the Award.

Both the petitions stand disposed of with these directions. 7.
