% 24.01.2020 The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, instituted on behalf of the petitioner, prays as follows: "It is therefore, most humbly prayed that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:
a) Pass an appropriate writ of habeas corpus or any other writ, order or direction to the respondents to produce Naseema Bano, wife of the petitioner; and/or b) Pass such other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the present circumstances and in the interest of justice." In view of the circumstance that Ms. Naseem, the adult daughter of Mr. Chand Mohd. and the duly married wife of Mr. Toufiq Alam, the petitioner, has appeared before this Court today and expressed her free will to reside at her parental home at this stage, Mr. Vishal Raj Sehijpal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
petitioner, on instructions from the latter, who is present before this Court today, does not press this habeas corpus petition. The present petition is dismissed as not pressed and disposed of accordingly.
