The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions restraining the respondent no.2 from reinstalling and/or energising the distribution transformer on the Phirni Road in front of Plot No.18 and other residential plots at Village Khizrabad, Tehsil Mehrauli, New Delhi. A further direction is sought to direct the respondents to remove any existing iron enclosure and associated structures from the said location. 2.

respondent no.2/BSES was asked to take instructions. 3.

Mr. Sandeep Sethi, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.2/BSES, on instructions, submits that the respondent no.2/BSES has decided not to install the transformer at the aforesaid location.

3.1 The aforesaid statement is taken on record.

The respondent no.2/BSES shall be bound by the same and the existing structure at the subject location shall be removed forthwith.

In view thereof, the writ petition, along with pending applications, stands disposed of.
