Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner had given an offer for the purposes of redeeming the mortgage in question but such offer was not accepted by respondent.

He supplements that respondent never came up with any counter offer and the petitioner is always ready and willing to redeem the mortgage on reasonable terms. 3.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he would direct the petitioner to approach respondent i.e. LIC Housing Finance Limited, again to find out an amicable solution of the matter. 4.

In view of the abovesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for petitioner, the present petition stand disposed of as not pressed. 5.

Needless to say, the petitioner is always at liberty to approach the respondent again.

This Court expects that if the offer given by the petitioner is found to be reasonable, respondent would be at liberty to take appropriate decision. Let such decision be taken within a period of four weeks from today, in accordance with law.
