% 06.02.2020 This petition has been filed seeking direction against the respondents to issue Visa to the petitioner's wife in a time bound manner.
The learned counsel for the respondents submits that due to the petitioner's wife overstaying in India on her earlier visit, the petitioner's wife has been put on a blacklist in category 'C' which would expire on 19th April, 2020.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the period of overstay on the earlier visit was due to personal reasons and he would like to give a representation in this regard to the respondents for them to re-consider the question of blacklisting the petitioner's wife. The petitioner may make such representation to the respondents, who would consider the same in accordance with law and communicate their decision to the petitioner within a period of
three weeks from the receipt of such representation. Incase the petitioner is aggrieved of the decision taken, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
The petition is disposed of.
