CRL.M.C. 1913/2026 By way of the present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a time-bound disposal of complaint bearing No.2749/2020 filed under section 12 of the Protection of Women's from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 ('DV Act'), which is pending in the court of learned JMFC, Mahila Court, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi ('Mahila Court').

The petitioner also seeks early disposal of her complaint filed under section 144 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 in case bearing MT No. 106/2025, pending before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi ('Family Court'). Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the petitioner and her two daughters have been awaiting relief in the aforesaid two proceedings, including by way of prayers under section 23 of the DV Act, which is pending in their petition before the learned Mahila Court. Counsel submits, that despite the lapse of almost 06 years, the matter has not proceeded.

The record bears-out the submissions.

In view of the above, and the prayer made in the petition, it is not considered necessary to issued notice on this petition. The petition is accordingly disposed-of; with a direction to the learned Mahila Court seized with complaint case bearing No.2749/2020; and the learned Family court seized with case bearing MT No. 106/2025, to disposeof the matters as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, within 06 months from today.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
