An application under Section 29-A(5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of time till 31.07.2024.

The learned Sole Arbitrator entered into reference on 15.07.2020 and Statement of Claim was filed by the petitioner on 06.11.2020. An eapplication for extension of time was filed on 07.08.2021 for recording the evidence of the petitioner and the witnesses. The time was accordingly extended on the "No Objection" of the respondent. The evidence of the respondent stands concluded.

The mandate of the learned Arbitrator has expired on 29.02.2024. The matter is now fixed for final arguments. It is submitted that an extension be given till 31.07.2024. 3.

Considering the submissions made, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31.07.2024 from the date it expired on 29.02.2024.. 5.
