The present petitions are under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the ld. Arbitrator.

Dispute in the present matter arises from a registered lease deed dated 4th September, 2018 entered into between the parties with respect to a Commercial Complex under the name and style of "Splendor Trade Tower" at Sector 65, Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram, Haryana. 4.

During the currency of the lease, the Respondent terminated the lease vide notice dated 17th September, 2020. Subsequently, the Petitioner vide notice dated 22nd December, 2020 invoked arbitration under Clause 21.2 of the lease deed and a sole arbitrator was appointed vide order dated 3rd May. 5.

On 12th June, 2021 the Hon'ble Arbitral Tribunal entered reference in the matter and subsequently, the arbitral proceedings were initiated on 10th January, 2022 6.

The matter is stated to be at the stage of final arguments. 7.

Accordingly, the mandate of ld. Arbitrator is extended by six months from 1st March, 2024.
