Petitioner, who is defending maintenance petition filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C., seeks a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Rohini, to expedite the abovesaid maintenance petition by taking it up on day-to-day basis.

After hearing learned counsel for petitioner, and on the basis of averments made in the petition, this court does not find any compelling reason to give any such direction to learned Principal Judge, Family Courts to dispose of the case in a time bound manner while taking it up on day-to-day basis.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of 4.
However, the petitioner would be at liberty to make appropriate request in this regard before the learned Principal Judge and, learned Principal Judge, keeping in mind its board position, would be at liberty to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.
