% 28.02.2024 By way of the present petition filed under section 29A (5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator, who is seized of the disputes between the parties for a further period of six months.

Mr. Sonal Sinha, learned counsel appears on behalf of respondents on advance copy; accepts notice; and does not oppose the prayer made. 4.

The record shows that the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was last extended vide order dated 19.09.2023, made in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 421/2023 by six months, which period ends on 28.02.2024 i.e. today.

Vide order dated 16.01.2024, the learned Sole Arbitrator has set-down the matter for rejoinder arguments and has directed the parties to apply for extension of mandate by a period of six months. 6.
