By way of this petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Master Service Agreement for Passive Infrastructure Services dated 30.06.2010.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal has been extended from time to time, lastly by order of this Court dated 09.08.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 247/2023 by six months from 01.09.2023 till 29.02.2024.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

Mr. Abhijit Mittal, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

In view of the above and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of six months with effect from 29.02.2024.

The petition stands disposed of in these terms.
