The application stands disposed-off.
W.P.(CRL) 354/2019 Issue notice. Mr. Anil Soni, the Central Government Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent nos. 2 & 3. Mr. Anil Soni submits that an LOC was opened on an intimation received from Delhi Police.
The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been acquitted in case FIR No. 347/2016 registered at P. S. Hari Nagar. Therefore, there is no occasion for the LOC to subsist and become an obstacle for the petitioner to his free movement to/ and from the country.
The learned counsel for the State submits that a communication has been received from the police, to the effect that the case stands disposed-off and in favour of the petitioner and they would take all necessary steps for the removal of any conditions which were imposed on the petitioner.
The State seeks and is granted 10 days time to file a Status Report.
