O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 152/2024 By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.08.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.02.2024.

Mr.Himanshu Pathak, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondents and submits that as per the instructions of the department he has no objection for the extension of the mandate. Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31.08.2024. Further, the period lapsed from 28.02.2024 till date is regularised.
The petition stands disposed of.
