The respondents, appearing in person, have informed the Court that a settlement was reached whereby the petitioners had agreed to pay a sum of ₹1,25,000/- to each of the injured victims. However, the respondents are being offered a total sum of ₹1,25,000/- for both the victims, which they are not willing to accept.

In view of the statement made by the respondents, the petition is dismissed.
